Team “When you listen to a child” is planning a reading workshop.
Would you like to read “When Listening to Children” together with parents and children, mothers and friends, or in a community group?
In addition to the three members (Yukimi Doi, Toshie Negishi, and Kumiko Hiramaru), guest actors and directors will join us to spend a fun and friendly time together with you.
If you are interested, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
Our Activities – Past and Future
On March 11, 2011, a major earthquake hit eastern Japan, and each of the members visited evacuation centers, temporary housing, schools, and nursery schools to carry out various support activities. Through each activity, many of the stories we heard from fathers and mothers living in Iitate Village and other parts of Fukushima were experiences that they did not get to have “invaluable parent-child time spent with their little ones”.
Based on these stories, we launched the “Fukushima Children’s Drama Plaza Project” in the hope that we could help in any way we could to create a time for parents and children to enjoy together.
The sight of children having fun cheers up adults as well. Every year, we continue to plan projects that can cheer up parents and children, even if only a little.
